Technology I used during the evaluation stage
Wix- I used Wix to create this website. I created a website with different pages explaining different stages of the production process. Having a website is good because it is fun and interactive for users, rather than reading a big essay. Creating this website allowed me to add pictures and create a design I liked. Every page is different which I like about this software and I think that users would find it interesting. I did things such as adding boxes, which made the website look clean and clear.
Prezzi- I used the website Prezzi to create a presentation for CCR task 3. This was good to use to create an interactive presentation rather than just a plain powerpoint as audiences usually find these presentations more interactive.. Prezzi allowed me to add little details in bubbles and create a design I liked.
I used Powerpoint for CCR task 1. This was showing how my product used or challenged media conventions. It was good to use Powerpoint because it is easy to include pictures and videos, which helped me compare real products to my products. The speaker notes section also allowed me to write a script for myself, making my presentation look clean and appealing.
I also used Loom for CCR task 1. This is a video website where you can record and share your screen. This meant I was able to record my powerpoint whilst talking through it, and it screen recorded the presentation and my voice at the same time. This was a good website to use because it meant I could talk people through my presentation and explain in more detail, rather than having crammed text on a slide which would be boring.
I used Blogger for CCR task 2. Using Blogger was good because we've been doing it all year it was easy to use. I knew how to embed pictures, videos... which I was unfamiliar with on the other new software we used. Blogger allowed me to create a detailed post explaining how my product engaged my target audience through the use of the images, layout and design, text and videos.
The internet + Youtube-
I used Youtube to take screenshots of my comparison products. I was able to insert videos on my powerpoint from Youtube which helped with my explanations and comparisons.
I used the internet to look up film posters and also do research into my target audience for my products.
